The Kennnedys are Pete and Maura Kennedy, who have been fixtures on the New
Folk scene since the late 1980s. The husband-wife duo create wonderfully catchy
original music, with thoughtful lyrics, that draw on such great influences as
the Byrds and the Beatles, and carries them into the 21st Century.

Jan. 27 Professor and Maryann. Named after a pair of characters
on Gilligan's Island, this nationally-acclaimed duo of Ken Rockwood and
Danielle Brancaccio have attracted a virtual cult following worldwide.
Their airy, romantic, sometimes cryptic songs, performed in a stark acoustic
setting, have won many critics' awards over the course of nearly a half dozen
albums. This encore of their 2001 Homegrown Music appearance features many of
the songs which would be later included on their current CD Runaway
Favorite.
