Mar. 2 Glenn Zervas. New Jersey acoustic guitar virtuoso Zervas makes his Homegrown Music debut with a collection of outstanding folk-style original instrumental solos.

Mar. 9 Bob Perry Band. From the Homegrown Music Archive comes this great roots rock quintet headed by a member of the popular national 1980s band Winter Hours. Perry's songs are marked by tasteful arrangements and outstanding vocals in this session from 2000.

Mar. 10 A Homegrown Jazz Special with THE ANDREW CHESHIRE QUARTET. Wayne County, PA, jazz guitarist Cheshire returns with his quartet of outstanding young musicians, including Bob Avee, who appeared at the 2003 Delaware Water Gap Festival with the COTA Cats all-star high school big band. The set includes both original material and jazz standards. (Note: Start time 7:00 PM, during WVIA's All That Jazz.)

Mar. 16 Tara Watkins. Best known for her stint doing backing vocals with pop star Lauryn Hill, popular Northeastern Pennsylvania singer Watkins is a veratile singer, performing everything from jazz to rock and soul. She makes her Homegrown Music debut, joined by her father and sister, performing both jazz standards and original material.

Mar. 23 A Homegrown Music Concert with BILL MAYS.. WVIA's monthly series of unique live Homegrown Music concert broadcasts continues with an evening of world-class jazz from a jazz piano great and other guests.

Bill Mays, one of the most respected names in jazz piano, has the distinction of being perhaps the only musician to have performed with both Frank Sinatra and Frank Zappa. His recorded output is voluminous and he is frequently called on to perform on film soundtracks. Based in rural Shohola, PA, in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Mays makes his Homegrown Music debut in a solo performance.
