Aug. 28 Jason O. Jason Olcese is a singer-songwriter from Uniondale, PA, who started his musical career as a drummer. That feel for infectious rhythms permeates his appealing original music, marked by pleasing vocals and an acoustic-based sound. He is joined by Lee Griffin on bass.

Aug. 29 A Homegrown Jazz Special with DAVID LIEBMAN and MICHAEL STEPHANS. One of the world's most acclaimed jazz musicians, Stroudsburg resident David Liebman returns to Homegrown Music for another new musical collaboration, this time with percussionist and multi-instrumentalist Michael Stephans, who has worked with artists as diverse as Pharaoh Sanders and Charlie Byrd to Cher. (Stephans is also known as a writer for his poetry and for writing liner note for well-known jazz musicians.) Liebman and Stephans' collaboration is very free-wheeling with each being heard on a variety of conventional and exotic instruments doing standards to originals. It's a fascinating session. (Note: Airtime 7:00 PM during WVIA's All That Jazz.)
