Homegrown Music is WVIA-FM's exclusive series which each week showcases the talents of regional contemporary music artists in recordings produced in the WVIA-FM studios by series host George Graham. Homegrown Music (HGM), presents new performances most Tuesdays at 9:00 PM. Aug. 5 Wally and the Paupacks. A great straight-ahead rock band from the Lake Wallenpaupack area led by Rick "Noodles" Horvath, Wally and the Paupacks perform an enjoyable collection of first-rate original music in the band's Homegrown Music debut.

Brazz Tree
Mazz Swift and Brand Hammonds of Brazz Tree at WVIA
Aug. 12 Brazz Tree. The distinctive and virtuosic guitar guitar/violin duo of Brad Hammonds and Mazz Swift will be performing at the 4th annual WVIA/Central Susquehanna Valley Celtic Festival in Sunbury on August 23. This segment is an encore of their 2007 Homegrown Music studio session, which features their wide-ranging original compositions, and remarkable musicianship.

Aug. 19 Jason O. Clifford, PA, singer-songwriter Jason Olcese returns to Homegrown Music for a new collection of his appealing and rhythmically infectious original songs, performed in a solo acoustic setting.

Plus Three
Plus 3 performing at a Homegrown Music concert at WVIA
Aug. 26 Plus 3. This first-rate from Pennsylvania's Wyoming Valley rock quartet combined appealing melodic pop with great vocals. They released two well-received CD. This Homegrown Music segment is an encore of their 2003 debut on the series.
