Sept. 1 Billy Rogan. A brilliant young acoustic guitar instrumentalist from Clarks Summit, PA, Rogan specializes in the multifaceted and percussive style popularized by Michael Hedges. This encore reprises his impressive 2008 Homegrown Music debut.

Sept. 8 Dina Hall. A fine singer-songwriter from the Lehigh Valley, Ms. Hall previously appeared on Homegrown Music ten years ago as half of the duo Nina and Dina. She makes her solo debut with a pleasing collection of original songs performed in an acoustic setting.

Sept. 15 Luke Brindley. Luke Brindley and his brother Daniel in recent years have become popular in the Washington, DC area, winning national acclaim. Luke's CD "Five Songs" was called "One of the year's best roots rock releases" by the Washington Post. Before they moved to the nation's capital, they were part of the WVIA regional scene, and this Homegrown Encore features Luke with Daniel in a session recorded in late 2000, performing a very appealing set of Luke's songs.

Sept. 22 Wally and the Paupacks. A first-rate straight-ahead rock band from the Lake Wallenpaupack area (where else?), Wally and the Paupacks return to Homegrown Music with a new batch of original songs plus a couple of interesting covers.

Sept. 29 Ben Carroll. Singer-songwriter Ben Carroll is a second generation musician. His father, Jon, was a founding member of the 1970s hit group the Starland Vocal Band. Ben's 2008 CD Real Thing received an enthusiastic national response. Father and son join forces for a collection of Ben's appealing songs. Their enthusiasm in working together in the studio is infectious, making for quite enjoyable listening. (Encore from 2008.)
