July 3 Earl Pickens & Family. A five-piece roots rock and folk band from the Lewisburg area which has released two well-received CDs. Their original music is wide-ranging and quite appealing. This is an encore of their 2011 Homegrown Music debut.

July 10 Dave's True Story. This 2005 session has become something of a Homegrown Music classic. The jazzy quartet, featuring the lyrically clever songs of Dave Cantor and the chanteuse-style vocals of Kelly Flint, has released several nationally acclaimed CDs, finding audiences among fans of both jazz and folk all over the country. The group debuted some new material on the session, as well as doing new versions of some of their well-known material. (Encore)

July 17 A Homegrown Music Concert Encore featuring SAMITE. While the Homegrown Music concert series is on summer hiatus, series producer George Graham is presenting highlights from some memorable concerts from the past. This one features a remarkable 2004 performance by the Ugandan-born, Upstate-New York based performer Samite, who has an international following attracting world music, folk and New Age fans. he combines traditional African instruments such as the kalimba with modern looping technology. He was joined by guitar virtuoso David Cullen.

July 24 A Homegrown Music Blues Anthology. This week Homegrown Music dips in to the archive for some outstanding blues performances the series has presented over the years, from acoustic solo artists to larger electric groups, with both original material and blues standards.

July 31 Lorne Clarke. Canadian-born Northeastern Pennsylvania-based singer-songwriter brings a lot of interesting life experiences into his songs. With a big rich voice, he writes songs that run from topical to timeless. This is an encore of a 2005 session.
