Feb. 10 Ned Farr. This archive session from 1998 is a particular favorite of HGM producer George Graham. Mainly a graphic artist and a gaffer in the theatrical world, Ned Farr nevertheless created memorable music that combined thoughtful lyrics, fine vocals and excellent instrumental arrangements. This session preceded his second album Desert Motel and featured some of the songs that would appear on it. This edition of Homegrown Music was subsequently released as The Warehouse Sessions.
Feb. 17 The Empty Pockets. An excellent emerging folk-rock and roots group, The Empty Pockets feature great, melodic original songs and fine vocal harmonies. This new session marks their Homegrown Music debut.
