Dec. 6 Jean-Paul Vest. Founder of the group Last Charge of the Light Horse, whose album Nine Kinds of Happy was featured on the Mixed Bag Weekly album review last year, Jean-Paul Vest creates interesting, often contemplative songs performed in an atmospheric electric setting. Following the release of the album, the Long Islander made his Homegrown Music debut in a distinctive solo electric setting. This is an encore or that 2015 session.

Dec. 13 56 Men. This Southeastern PA group has been together in various forms since the 1980s, originally known as The Patriots, when they first appeared on Homegrown Music. Named after the number of signers of the Declaration of Independence, the quartet returns to perform a new set of original melodic rock in the British Invasion tradition.

Dec. 20 A Homegrown Music Concert Encore with MARCUS EATON. A remarkable guitarist and songwriter originally from Idaho, Marcus Eaton gained recognition with a group called Marcus Eaton and the Lobby in 2000. A second generation songwriter, Eaton has been releasing a series of albums marked by highly sophisticated compositions played on acoustic guitar in an otherwise electric setting. In 2014, Eaton joined David Crosby as part of Crosby’s acclaimed album Croz. Eaton made three appearances on Homegrown Music, including a memorable live concert in 2008. This is an encore of that show which featured his trio performing at WVIA.
