Aug. 15 Honey King. This trio is a very appealing acoustic incarnation of a normally bluesy and electric band from New Jersey. The acoustic version of Honey King performs a nice set of original music with a distinctly folk-oriented flair, featuring the lead vocals of Julia Knitel, in this encore from 2012.

Aug. 29 OTiS. An unfortunately rather short-lived 7 piece funk band with horns that was one of the tightest groups the Homegrown Music has presented. This encore from 2012 features their only Homegrown Music appearance with material that they never got to release before the band broke up.
