Aug. 6 Bindley Hardware Co. A fine roots-rock and country influenced band from Pittsburgh, the group was named after the nearly century-old business founded by the ancestors of leader-singer-songwriter Jon Bindley. Aug. 13 A Homegrown Music Concert Encore with THE CURRYS. Two brothers and a cousin have been making music together for most of their lives, with outstanding vocal harmonies. Aug. 20 HannaH’s Field. Hannah and Andrew “Bongo Bliss” Ardenski play what they describe as “modern hippie Rasta folk.” It’s an appealing reggae-influenced blend that is featured in their recent album Revolutionary Soldiers. They make their Homegrown Music debut with a collection of their original music played in a light electric setting.
