Nov. 2 Tim Chaisson. Canadian singer-songwriter Tim Chiasson from Prince Edward Island, and his cousin Koady Chaisson paid Homegrown Music a visit in February 2013 for a memorable set of Chaisson’s appealing original songs, plus a nice cover of a James Taylor tune. |
Nov. 9 Julia Joseph. A singer-songwriter whose acoustic sound is infectiously rhythmic, Julia Joseph is heard in this 2007 session spotlighting her original music, and joined by acoustic bassist Jeff Eyrich (Dave's True Story) and percussionist/vocalist KK Kairos. |
Nov 23 A Homegrown Music Concert Encore with THE FRANK AND JOE SHOW. This memorable concert from 2004 features a group led by virtuosic jazz guitarist Frank Vignola with the late drummer/percussionist Joe Ascione with music inspired by Django Reinhardt’s Hot Club of France. |
Nov. 30 John Michael Hersey. An active singer-songwriter since the 1980s, John Michael Hersey has been involved with various aspects of the music world over the decades, including a stint playing guitar in the doo-wop group The Cadillacs. He has released nine albums, including his most recent The Reincarnation of a Rock which has been featured on WVIA’s Mixed Bag. This is an encore of his 2019 Homegrown Music debut with a collection of original music, including non-album material, in a solo acoustic setting. |
