Jan. 4 Teen Town. An outstanding jazz-rock fusion trio, who were literally in their teens during this 2019 session, featuring bassist Gabriel Severn, keyboardist Connor Rohrer and drummer Logan Bedard, Teen Town is heard in this encore of their debut Homegrown Music appearance. The group will soon be releasing their debut album, and this segment also includes a preview of one of the tracks from the new project. |
Jan. 11 Freight Train. A popular regional band in the 1990s, Freight Train combined interesting lyrics with a jazzy jam-band musical setting. This encore features music from their three Homegrown Music sessions from 1993, 1994 and 1997. |
Jan. 18 Smash Palace. This melodic British Invasion-influenced group has been around since the 1980s, and recently released a new album in 2021. This edition of Homegrown Music is an encore of a live concert by the band in 2008. |
Jan. 25 OTiS. A tight, seven piece funk band with horns, OTiS unfortunately was a rather short-lived group. But they put in a memorable Homegrown Music session of 2012, which is featured in this encore. |
